Stand in front of a large mirror.

Bend from side-to-side to find where your waistline naturally creases.

Wrap a measuring tape around this crease point on your waistline.

Hold tape firmly, not too tight. Make sure tape is parallel to the ground.

Record your measurement.

Hip

Place the tape around the fullest point of your hips.

Gently pull the tape. The sweet spot is not too snug and not too loose. 

Keep the tape parallel to the floor. 

Record your measurement.

Thigh

Place the tape around the fullest point of your thigh.

Gently pull the tape. The sweet spot is not too snug and not too loose. 

Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
